The Little Things That Whisper: “You’re Loved”

Some reminders of God’s love arrive quietly — not in miracles, not in mountaintop moments, but in the small, ordinary details of a day.

Today, mine came in the form of two tiny crosses around my neck.

One is mine.
The other belongs to my daughter, Madeleine — who was off playing basketball while I cheered her on from the sidelines.

I didn’t plan to wear both. It just happened.

But as soon as I noticed, I felt this gentle truth rise up in my heart:
It doesn’t make me twice as holy.

It just makes me twice as loved.

Because love shows up in the little things:

  • A necklace borrowed.
  • A smile shared.
  • A moment that makes you pause.
  • A flicker of warmth you didn’t expect.

And honestly?

It reminded me of something important in business too — that the small, faithful steps matter. The tiny actions. The unseen moments. The things that don’t feel “big,” but slowly build something meaningful over time. Just like God threads love through the everyday, He also threads purpose through the work we do — one gentle nudge at a time.

Sometimes we look for God in the big breakthroughs, the huge answered prayers, the dramatic turning points. But most days? He’s in the small moments that make us stop and feel held.

Two crosses.
One mum heart.
A quiet reminder that God’s love threads through the everyday — even in the places we don’t notice until we slow down.

Maybe today you needed the reminder too:

You are loved more than you realise, in ways you may not even see yet.

Mini Devotional

📜 Verse:

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” — 1 John 3:1

🕊 Reflection:

God’s love doesn’t always shout — sometimes it whispers. Sometimes it shows up in small gestures, in borrowed things, in moments of tenderness we didn’t create but simply receive. When we slow down, we begin to notice just how deeply and consistently loved we are — even in our businesses, where He leads us one faithful step at a time.

🙏 Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the everyday reminders of Your love.

Open my eyes to see the little things You place in my path — the quiet signs that You’re close, that I’m held, and that I am loved. Guide me in my work, too — help me build with faith, integrity, and trust in Your steady hand. Amen.

Stay Blessed

Deborah 💛
